Call to Arms
15 August 2011
Mid day, Monday 29th August 2011, Stonehenge Wiltshire.
Robed Druids, Witches and Pagans needed along with Ministers and Priests of other Faiths that care about the treatment of our Ancestors remains.
A day of action (peaceful protest) is planned for Monday 29th August, in the National Trust field adjacent to Stonehenge to mark the Third anniversary of the removal of The Ancient Cremated Human remains (known as the Guardians) from what should have been their final resting place encircling Stonehenge.
A multi-faith circle will be opened by King Arthur Pendragon, Senior Druid and Pagan Priest, to show support for the return and reburial of our Ancestors remains, currently held for research by Sheffield University.
Bring food, Bring Music (acoustic) to share.

Inside Wiltshire, report on the Solstice at Stonehenge
by Arthur Pendragon on Wednesday, 27 July 2011
Two very charming pieces, in a world that is often 'swamped' with bad news. It's a refreshing change to read about the positive side of things. I will put links in from my fb site to both articles.
Blessings from Stonehenge

I thought you might be interested in this article - the couple you did the handfasting for gave me an account of their experience. Please let me know if there is anything incorrect in it and this article. Perhaps the articles might be worth linking to.

Harassment of Lawful Protest
OPEN LETTER TO WILTSHIRE COUNCIL 9th July 2011
Hail see below e mail sent to you on 6th May.
This (a copy of) is affixed to the door of my Office, prominently displayed on by-way 12.
Yet again your officers have affixed an abandoned vehicle notice to it dated 8th July 2011.
IT IS NOT ABANDONED / NOR AM I RESIDENT - IT IS LEGALLY PARKED
If, as and when you get the vehicle restriction orders sought at the public Inquiry that may not be the case and then appropriate action may be necessary to be taken by either or both parties. Until such times (and I intend to fight any such proposed imposition vigorously) would you refrain from affixing what amounts to 'threatening Notices' that could be seen as 'intimidating' to my Lawful 'Picket Office' and please afford me the courtesy of a reply, Unlike the e mail below that received no such response.

OPEN LETTER TO WILTSHIRE COUNCIL 6th May 2011
Hail, The Notice (Prominently displayed, behind glass on my caravan door) copy attached for your information reads;

Fairly self explanatory, one would have thought. But No, your staff have ‘served’ two notices upon it in the last two days. One dated 5th may addressed to whom it may concern claiming that I am residing in it and another dated 6th may claiming it is abandoned. It is neither the case as both your offices and that of Wiltshire police are fully aware of.
I recently submitted my written submissions to the Non statutory Public Inquiry regarding your application for the Traffic Regulatory Orders concerned and as required sent your office a copy of same. And this is your response?
Not content with the Threat of the acquisition of another possession Order, the last one being granted on 27th April 2009 against me, you it would appear would like a second bite of the ‘cherry’ and threaten to tow away my 'Office' within 7 days.
So much for speaking out, and the lawful right of protest.
I will copy this to the police, the press and the public Inquiry.
It is my vowed intention to leave ‘The Picket Office’ where it is on By-way 12 and to continue my lawful protest from it. It is NOT abandoned and I will resist any attempt to remove it without my permission or the production of a valid court order (any such application made by your offices, on whatever grounds I intend to defend robustly) In the meantime I thank you not to affix any more notices to ‘The Picket Office’ but to contact me direct.

Summer Solstice Stonehenge 2011

Summer Solstice Stonehenge
An unqualified success. Forget the Press and the Pagan purists let's tell it how it is shall we. Litter, punch ups and drugs that's what gets reported. Two local lads had a punch up, and? and nothing. It didn't develop into a brawl as it did at Ascot did it? And yes people did drop litter but no one photographed them picking it up and putting it into bags before they left did they. Drugs, well the Western Daily press put that into perspective with the number 383 the number of people gathered at Stonehenge for every drug seizure, and while we are on the numbers game, we the Robed Druids were certainly 'fighting above our weight' I estimate that there were 3,000 people present for every Robed Druid present throughout the night. If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. Robe up and be there to assist in future. A big thank you to all those who were there, in and out of robes to assist; and a big 'be there or be square' to those who weren't,
